Brunnstrom recalled to Dallas

Fabian Brunnstrom, who has been with the Texas Stars for six games on a conditioning assignment, was recalled to the Dallas Stars today. The was expected, as Dallas stated when they sent him down that he would return to the club for the January 14th matchup with the Canadiens in Montreal. Brunnstrom showed us a lot more on the ice this time in Austin, with 5 points and a +1 rating. He was on a line with some high-flying forwards, including Sceviour, Lindgren, and Morin. Here's the release.

  1. Expected yeah but this still sucks. Lindgren's line was buzzing last night, always an offensive threat, with Fabian and Colton on the wings. In the third period Fabian put on a brief but impressive display of just how strong a skater he is when he muscled past two defenders, circled the net very tightly and got off a good shot on his forehand.

  2. This was Brunnstroms second "conditioning" assignment. The first was after he came off the Dallas Stars IR. Now he gets his second. Is Brunnstrom still not 100% or is he getting sent down to find his mojo again?
