Texas recalls Korostin, sends Neal to Idaho

According to the AHL transaction wire, the Texas Stars have sent LW Michael Neal back down to the Idaho Steelheads and have recalled RW Sergei Korostin. Neal played in one game on this stint in the AHL, recording one shot and two penalty minutes against Abbotsford on the 9th.

Sergei Korostin, at one point Texas's leading scorer, was sent down to Idaho after he hit a bit of a dry streak. Korostin picked up 4 G and 2 A for a total of 6 points and a +4 rating while in Boise. I like this move to help a struggling offense. Korostin previously played in 32 games for Texas before being sent down and racked up 9 G and 5 A for 14 points and a +6 rating.

Stars are in action against San Antonio tomorrow at home. See you there.
