As per usual, a limited gameday preview for the back-to-backs against the same team. Texas versus Houston face off in the Toyota Center for today's Halloween matinee match. After facing each other last night, Texas has to hope that they can bring energy to the table and end their nasty seven games in ten days streak on a positive note before taking a few days off. Houston will be playing their last game of a three-in-three.

Texas had a keen mastery over the Aeros last year going 8-3-0-1 in the season series. With the back-to-back nature of the games, I would expect Brent Krahn to go for the Stars. Texas announced that Joel Paprocki has been signed as a backup to Richard Bachman with Brent Krahn out sick. Matt Hackett should get the start for the Aeros. Hackett is 2-3-0 in 5 games of work. An inflated 3.36 GAA is mostly due to 5 and 8 goal shellackings at the hands of Oklahoma City and San Antonio, respectively.

Today's game is on 1530 AM with some NFL game surely taking the main stage on 104.9 FM.

Stars injury/call up report:
Sawada, McCulloch (injury)
Krahn, Chupp (sick)
