Krahn Clears Waivers, Assigned to Texas

As expected, after clearing waivers this morning, Brent Krahn was assigned to the Texas Stars. ESPN Dallas's Mark Stepneski grabbed this quote from Dallas Stars head coach Marc Crawford about Krahn's performance:
"I know that's the closest [Brent's] ever been to an NHL job, but a lot of times with goaltenders it takes a little bit of time. We believe there are not many seasons where you go through with only two goaltenders and he's a very good option for us."
In short, Brent Krahn is looking to get a quick callup if anything goes awry in Big D.
