April 20th at 7:30 PM
Cedar Park Center, Cedar Park, TX

After last night's OT thriller, the Stars prepare to take on Milwaukee once again tonight at the Cedar Park Center. Texas and Milwaukee both have to surely be thankful for little miracles. With a game in less than 24 hours, a long OT battle could have sapped the energy from both teams. Travis Morin's goal at 8:44 wrapped things up by 10:30 PM.

The Stars are expecting more of the same tonight against the Ads. We're going to see another tight, physical game that is likely low scoring. We should also expect Jeremy Smith and Richard Bachman to square off again in net. Travis Morin pointed out in the postgame last night that Smith, like Bachman, is a smaller netminder, so when he goes down, there is a lot of space at the top corners of the net. That is exactly where Texas scored the game-winning goal, in fact.

What the Stars don't want to repeat from last night is the slow start they had. A lot of time hemmed into their own zone made for a 12-6 shots advantage for the Ads after 20 minutes. By sheer luck and the skill of Bachman, Texas was only down 1-0 after the first. Tonight, Texas will have to come out on fire with the energy that they had when they finished the game last night.
