While the Stars are concerned about getting a point to clinch the top seed, their opponents, the Rockford IceHogs, are playing tonight to make it into the playoffs period. If they do, they could be a first round opponent of the Stars. This is the last game of the season for both teams.

Rockford currently sits in the ninth seed despite winning seven of their last eight games and many of those being against teams around them in the standings.

Through those eight games, they've outscored their opponents 34-21. That includes two blowouts 7-3 and 9-4. That nine goal effort was last night in San Antonio as the Rampage gave up four goals in the third period.

In the past, Texas has rested players in the last few games of the season before playoffs. Coach Desjardins isn't taking that route.

"We don't plan on resting anyone. We weren't going to [regardless of the Houston loss]. It's a full season, and you've got to play every game."

The guess would be that Campbell takes the start tonight. Karlsson is likely to go from Rockford as Hutton is in Chicago currently. Karlsson played last night in San Antonio.
