It's the preseason, so how much can you say about the games in a preview format. Texas will likely ice a different lineup than Friday, owing to a number of assignments from Dallas. Look to see Coach Desjardins trying out power play units, penalty kill pairings and other 'tweak' type items ahead of the start of the season here. Things looked good the other night on the penalty kill with a 6/6 effort, but the power play needed work, going 1/9.

Also, it's likely that Josh Robinson gets into his first AHL game, preseason or otherwise, tonight as Jack Campbell played all of the OKC game. Pat Nagle could get a period, but that's still uncertain.

San Antonio played in front of many Texas Stars fans last night against the Barons. The Rampage won that game 2-1 in the shootout off the stick of Jared Gomes alone; he scored both the only regulation goal and the only shootout goal. Rampage play-by-play voice commented on Twitter that "Gomes, Vincent Trocheck, and Alex Petrovic really stood out". Watch for those players tonight in Cedar Park.

  1. Stephen, I just read a tweet from Bob McKenzie, Luke was claimed by Edmonton. They have to play him in the NHL, is that correct?
