Dallas Stars Assign Aaron Rome to Texas

After coming down to the AHL on a conditioning stint two weeks ago, Aaron Rome has now passed through waivers and been assigned to the Texas Stars ahead of their five-game road trip to the Midwest.

The veteran defenseman has yet to play in an NHL game this season and has zero points and is minus-1 in his three games of AHL action so far this year with Texas.

No release quite yet, but it will be added when the announcement is officially made.

  1. I guess this isn't a big surprise, but I don't know if he should play in place of anyone currently playing.

  2. Makes room on the roster to call up a forward now that he has cleared waivers. Still betting on Sceviour.

  3. I always get Morin and Sceviour mixed up for some reason.
