Travis Morin to Dallas; Jamie Oleksiak Assigned to Texas

Texas also confirms Stefishen PTO signing

As a result of Ryan Garbutt's suspension, Travis Morin has been recalled from the Texas Stars to Dallas. A recall was expected after the former Texas Star Garbutt earned a three-game suspension today. The only question was who would get the call. Morin earned it as he ranks 3rd in the AHL in points.

In an unexpected move, Jamie Oleksiak was also assigned to Texas from Dallas. The large defenseman hasn't played a game for Texas all season, making it into 21 games for Dallas this season. Oleksiak will be available for tomorrow's game against Charlotte.

Texas also confirmed the signing of Taylor Stefishen to a PTO.
