Last night was fun, so Texas will try to do it again. Coach Laxdal said postgame that hoped he could bottle whatever came over the Stars in their hot start last night for today's game as well.

Given the tone of the prior contest, tonight will surely be a chippy matchup. Coach Laxdal agreed, "Both teams are battling for a playoff spot and you're going to have that animosity and passion. It sets up for a big game."

Derek Hulak added, "Coming down the stretch every game is huge. A lot of the teams we play down the stretch are teams we're chasing."

Texas is now just three point behind the Ads in the playoff race and could cut that to one with a win today. Additionally, the #8 Stars have a two games in hand on the #6 Admirals and three on the #7 Bulldogs. If Texas can win today, they will leapfrog the Admirals for the 6th spot by points percentage in the West.
