Mike McKenna got his second start in a week and was tremendous for the Stars in defeat, allowing a single goal in overtime. It was a goaltending duel between McKenna and rookie Rampage Ville Husso that ended in a 1-0 score. Fellow rookie Dominic Toninato ended the contest with his sixth goal of the season, of course assisted by Star-killer Rocco Grimaldi.

Greg Rallo checked into the lineup for the first time since November 10th. He was able to slide into the lineup with the veteran rule after Brian Flynn was injured in Wednesday's game and did not play tonight. Rallo had no points or shots in the contest against his former club.

The Texas power play, which has been an engine for its offensive machine recently, didn't get many chances with an 0-for-3 effort. The PK stopped two San Antonio chances.

Texas plays again tomorrow night at home against San Diego.

Injuries, scratches, and notes:
Hintz, Thompson (scratch)
Flynn, Regner, Dowling, Hansson(injury)
Elie, Honka, Dickinson (call-up)

Tonight's attendance was 7,525.
