Coming off a gutsy 2-1 victory over the San Antonio Rampage on Friday evening, the Texas Stars will head south on I-35 to take on their rivals for the twelfth time this season on Saturday. In Friday's game, Landon Bow stopped 37 of 38 shots to help seal the victory. It'll be interesting to see who gets the start in Saturday's game between Bow and Phillipe Desroisers. Do you ride the hot hand at this time of year, or go with a fresh backup on the second night of a back-to-back?

In the first game of the weekend set, the Stars had to claw back with two third period goals from Denis Gurianov and Sheldon Dries. Bow expects to see playoff intensity in Saturday's game. "It’s playoff hockey now," said Bow after the recent win. "Everyone’s trying to get whatever advantage they can. They’re going to try to throw me off by getting bodies to the net, and if that’s what they’re going to do I’ve got to be ready for it and try and find the puck."
Rampage center Zach Sanford, who came off a recent injury, had one goal in Friday's contest and nearly had another if not for the crossbar. Look for him and others to score more than one goal as the Rampage will fight tooth and nail in their own playoff bid.
The puck drops in San Antonio at 7:00 PM CST.
