State of the League: Texas, San Antonio Leaving Pacific Division Next Year

As part of All-Star weekend, AHL president Dave Andrews gave his State of the League address this morning. It's always an interesting chat, and this morning's edition was no exception. The league does not broadcast the address, so Patrick Williams, the AHL's answer to Bob McKenzie, was there to assist. Here are some of the notable bits.



This one isn't really unexpected. With a new team in Colorado, the league would have 9 clubs in the Pacific. Texas and San Antonio likely move to the Central in this scenario.
