Texas Stars forward Sergei Korostin has been reassigned to Idaho of the ECHL. Korostin, who was at one point the leading scorer on the Stars, has hit a bit of a dry streak with only two points in his last 11 games.
From the bad news department, the Vancouver Canucks have decided to recall D Brad Lukowich to the big club. He has to clear re-entry waivers, but after that, he will likely be suiting up to play the Dallas Stars in Dallas on Saturday. The Canucks needed another defenseman to replace Mathieu Schneider who was recently placed on waivers and could accept assignment to the AHL's Manitoba Moose.
