Pro Hockey News's Mitch Cooper had a great piece on the Texas Stars' selections to the AHL All-Star game in Portland, Ivan Vishnevskiy and Brent Krahn. In it, I found this interesting quotation from Krahn:
"[January 19th] is cutting it close," Krahn said. "I doubt I'll be able to play. I haven't thought about [going]. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I think I'd much rather stay back and get myself healthy and get back, so I can play for the Texas Stars."January 19th is cutting it close, eh? As in, I'd be close to a comeback at that point but don't want to chance it? Boy, let's hope so...
