Warren Peters sent down to Texas after paperwork mishap

Apparently Jere Lehtinen was ready to play last night for the Dallas Stars but the NHL front office never got the right paperwork. A fax notification of roster moves is required. The Stars never got that fax in last night, so Peters remained in Dallas while Lehtinen stayed on the IR. The move was completed today, but Peters did not play tonight against Abbotsford. Expect him in the lineup tomorrow against Peoria. Here's the release:
The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has assigned center Warren Peters to the Texas Stars, Dallas’ primary affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Peters, 27, has skated in eight games for Dallas this season, recording one goal with a +2 rating. Peters has played 33 games for Texas in 2009-10, recording 19 points (13g, 6a) and 21 penalty minutes. The 6-0, 198-pound center signed with Dallas as a free agent on July 6, 2009.
