Texas Stars 11-7-0-0, 22 pts #5 West Division | v. | Milwaukee Admirals 9-6-1-3, 22 pts #6 West Division |
November 26th at 7:30 PM
Cedar Park Center, Cedar Park, TX
Milwaukee returns to the Cedar Park Center this evening for the second of the game in the Stars-Admirals season series. Last week's visit to Texas was not kind to Milwaukee. Richard Bachman stoned the Ads and got a shutout win 2-0.
Milwaukee is in the middle of their longest road stretch of the season, 10 games in 18 days in 6 different cities. Since playing Texas last week, the Ads have twice faced off against the Oklahoma City Barons, losing 5-2 and 4-1. Their two losses have dropped them from #2 in the West division to #6, tied with Texas at 22 points in one more game overall.
Against the Barons, Milwaukee ceded 5 PP goals on 12 opportunities and allowed a shorty as well. The Ads, who rank in the bottom seven of the league in overall PP and PK.
Mark Dekanich is still statistically in good shape with an 8-3-2 record, a 1.81 GAA and a .938 SV%. Texas's Bachman is 6-2-0 with a 2.01 GAA and a .931 SV%. From the teams' overall styles of play, strong defensively and a lack of refined offensive prowess, expect a lower scoring game, much as last week.
