In case you'd missed it around the interwebs, goalie Tyler Beskorowany has been named to the ECHL All-Star squad. Stars forward tryout Kael Mouillierat was also selected, but will not play due to injury.
The ECHL announced Tuesday afternoon that Idaho Steelheads goaltender Tyler Beskorowany has been added to the league’s all-star lineup in Bakersfield.

Beskorowany will join forward Mark Derlago as a representative for the Steelheads. Forward Kael Mouillierat was also selected as an ECHL All-Star but will not participate in the game due to injury. The game is Wednesday night at 8 PM and can be heard live on KTIK, 1350 AM, in the Treasure Valley.

Beskorowany, 20, has appeared in 13 games for the Steelheads and would lead the league in goals-against average (2.11) and save percentage (.936) if he had played enough games to qualify statistically. The Hanmer, Ontario, native was drafted in the second round of the NHL draft in 2008 by the Dallas Stars and has also played eight games with the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League this season, registering a .925 save percentage along the way.

It is the second consecutive season that the Stars organization has provided Idaho with an all-star netminder. Richard Bachman, who is also under contract with the Dallas Stars, represented the Steelheads in last season’s all star game.

Idaho (ECHL) and Texas (AHL) are the primary development affiliates of the NHL’s Dallas Stars.
