Colton Sceviour earned his first callup to the NHL today. Apparently the winger had been trying to make it out to Philadelphia for the better part of the day, but inclimate weather here in Texas prevented his flight from leaving. Sceviour was the last remaining Star to have played in every Texas Stars game in team history before being held out of tonight's game in Houston.

Prior to the game, the Dallas Stars announced that the club has recalled right wing Colton Sceviour from the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Sceviour, 21, is looking to make his NHL debut. He has appeared in 47 games for Texas this season, scoring nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points with four penalty minutes and a +6 rating. A native of Red Deer, Alberta, Sceviour was originally selected by Dallas in the fourth round (112 overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
