Texas faces the number two team in the Conference once again this evening in North Carolina. Including the last game between the two teams, Charlotte is on a five game winning streak and a six game point streak. Overall, they are 8-1-0-1 at home. This is a challenging team to play against, but this game is winnable. Texas had Charlotte.
If you thought Texas might get a reprieve in net with Mike Murphy not starting, Justin Peters was just named the Goalie of the Month for November. No such luck. This is going to be a hard battle and the Stars will play Charlotte again at home next Friday. Watch for bad tempers to boil over next week if this one is an out of hand L either way.
