After Friday and Saturday's deflating losses, Travis Morin said the best thing for the team right now is another game right away.
"The best part is that you have a game tomorrow. You can get it right out of your mind."
San Antonio and Texas are both in the same boat regarding their last game. Both clubs lost to the Bulldogs. For San Antonio, that's their fourth straight loss. They are 2-5-1-1 in their last ten overall.
Luckily for the Stars, Texas has earned a point in every one of their nine games against the Rampage this season. Unfortunately, the confluence of the two losses, lineup flux and the three game weekend might put that streak to rest if the Stars aren't careful.
"It's going to be a really tough game," said Coach Desjardins. "They have a good team, and they play well every time we play them."
Desjarins doesn't think there's any reason they can't beat San Antonio though after the effort that Grand Rapids gave on the last game of a three in three last week against Texas.
"There's no reason we have to give the same effort [as Saturday] in San Antonio."
