Dallas Earns 3rd Place With 7-1 Victory Over Blue Jackets

Alex Chiasson's two-goal effort headlined a 7-1 Dallas prospects victory in the third place game of the Traverse City tournament last night. The Stars had a plethora of power play opportunities and managed to capitalize on them this game, scoring two on six opportunities. Jamie Oleksiak added a Gordie Howe hat trick with a third period goal, second period fight and first period assist.

Several players anticipated to play with Texas this season also factored into scoring. Brett Ritchie, Matej Stransky, and Taylor Peters added goals. Curtis McKenzie continued a strong tournament with an assist on the first goal of the night. Valeri Nichushkin scored yet again, but he is not expected to play with Texas.

Jack Campbell started his second game of the tournament and had a stellar performance, stopping 24 of 25 shots against him.
