Rochester is on the playoff bubble. There's a little bit of separation between them and #9 Iowa, but it's just three points. They played last night in Utica, which is nearly as far away from Rochester as Hamilton is. Perhaps that will even things up a bit. The Amerks lost last night to the Comets though.
It's still relevant so I am going to quote the stats from yesterday regarding back-to-backs and matinee games for Texas:
In games starting before 7:00 local time this season, the Stars are 4-5-0-1. The weekend also combines two "back-to-back" games, if you will, which Texas has also had trouble with. Texas has a 10-7-0-1 record in the second game of a back to back, but has struggled this calendar year, going 2-4. When you combine the two factors, matinee games that are the second game of a back-to-back, Texas is a detestable 2-5-0-1.Time to reverse that curse. It's pretty unlikely that Texas plays Nilstorp in all three games this weekend. Perhaps Robinson gets this one.
