After solid camps for both, the Dallas Stars have assigned forward Brett Ritchie and defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka to the Texas Stars. The two were both part of the Texas Stars' Calder CUp winning club during their rookie season. Both players have to be on the short list for Lindy Ruff to call on when injuries occur at the NHL level.
