Forward Jesse Root and defenseman Mike Dalhuisen have been recalled to Texas from the Idaho Steelheads. The two were both in camp with Texas and signed standard AHL player contracts. This comes on the heels of last night's news that Valeri Nichushkin is expected to be out for Dallas at least a week. That necessitated the callup of Curtis McKenzie and so go the dominoes at forward.
