Last night, all 30 teams were in action in the AHL. That included the San Antonio Rampage, who won and pushed their mark to 16 points to cruise past the Stars for first in the division. It's the first time Texas hasn't been 1st in the division this calendar year (if not longer). OKC is in action tonight against the Wild and could pull into a tie for second with the Stars. That would be bad news. Two points tonight is crucial.
The Stars will trot our Jussi Rynnas, likely, for tonight's game against the Griffins. Texas didn't have the finish they needed in OT. For the most part, they played a solid game through 60 minutes and just couldn't seal the deal at the end.
Stars injury/call up report:
Klingberg, McKenzie (callup)

Live from GR looks like Ritchie a scratch. Rynnas to start.
ReplyDeleteAny thoughts on Faksa and Stransky? Are they producing or just playing shutdown roles?
ReplyDeleteStransky isn't getting the same chance under Laxdal that he did under Desjardins. The Faksa-Stransky connection is missing, and I think it's affecting both players.
