Let's talk desperation. Hamilton's got it; Texas doesn't. And looking at the numbers, that makes sense. It's what you saw last night when Hamilton put up a brick wall in the third to keep the game from going to overtime.

The Bulldogs are sitting in a precarious position. With eight possible points remaining in their schedule, they need at least seven of them to match the points pace of the current 8th place team, Toronto. You're going to see the same desperation tonight, especially with the Marlies playing weak competition in the Rochester Americans and the Flames off for the night.

Texas should put Jack Campbell out this evening, who got a break last night with Rynnas' return to the lineup. The key to watch here for the rest of the season will be the goalie play and starting to try and make a prediction on who will start in the Calder Cup playoffs.
