Oddly, this is the final visit for Texas to Iowa this season. Just four contests comprise the season series and both pairs are played in one go. Iowa will make their return trip to the CPC on March 2 and 4.
The Stars had a hot start to the season with a 4-game streak of wins. Now with two in the L column, they will look to rally today. It will remain to be seen on the season, but their youthfulness should be an asset in back-to-back games like this. Short turnarounds favor teams with younger players who are more able to recover.
