Perhaps a familiar and friendly tilt to start the road trip for Texas. The Condors and Stars have tangled three times this season with Texas winning in regulation each time. Both teams are coming in off a long layoff, having last played on Saturday. Texas defeated Chicago while the Condors blanked the division-leading Reign.

With Ben Scrivens in Montreal, the Condors are back to Laurent Brossoit and Eetu Laurikainen, who was recalled from Europe to supplement the Oilers' depth.

The Stars called up Zack Kamrass yesterday, his first AHL recall. The defenseman has been strong for Idaho and gives the Stars a bit of insurance on the three-game roadie. Stephen Johns is still out, but other defensemen were full participants in practice this week. It might be a bit of a reward for Kamrass as well.

The big question for Texas is which goaltenders play this weekend. There are three on the roster, all healthy. One each? Or, does John Muse get the cold shoulder with Lagace or Desrosiers getting two of three? Something to watch.
