Reading back to the last time Texas played San Jose, the preview was all about playing a full sixty to earn the win. After last night, the same could be written all over again. Stockton is not a good hockey team, but they mounted a comeback from three goals down to beat Texas last night. It's especially disappointing for the Stars after playing one of their best 60 minutes efforts of the season on Thursday night against the Gulls.
San Jose, which had been hovering just above Stockton in the standings for a while, has now surged up to fourth place. A win today would put them past Texas for third.
Look out for the potential first AHL start for Philippe Desrosiers after Muse went last night and Thursday.
