The final matchup of the year between these two teams comes tonight in Cedar Park. Following last night's Texas win and overall defensive dominance, the challenge now is to see if the Stars can keep that up for two games in a row.

It may seem obvious, but it's a huge boon to the Stars' fortunes when they win after really doubling down on a strategy. If they'd played a solid defensive game last night and lost through puck luck, it'd be that much harder to buy in. With the W, the buy-in is easier.

Last night's third period had a bit of flared tempers, which could boil over into tonight, so keep an eye on that.

As far as goalie matchups, it would seem that you'd get Copley for Chicago and Muse for Texas. Per morning skate though, the Stars will put Philippe Desrosiers out again.
