It's been a while since Texas played San Antonio. Their last bout was February 6th. With that in mind, it's time for Travis Morin's favorite trip, the Sunday afternoon jaunt to the Alamo City.
Texas just broke up a losing streak with a shootout win last night while San Antonio, despite being last in the division, is riding a three-game winning streak. Their game last night saw them shutout the Condors 3-0.
The big story for today's game is the return of Jack Campbell to the net. Campbell entered in relief last night and got his first win since November. He was already slated to get the start today, his first since December, before last night's game.
San Antonio has gotten a few of their big players back from injury or recall recently, including Ben Street. Street has a truly bizarre stat, according to Dan Weiss. He is still riding the point streak he started on opening night. Street has a seven-game AHL point streak going thanks to 61 games in the NHL between now and then start of the season. That's some trivia for you.
