UPDATE: Some changes for San Diego. Joseph Cramarossa, Michael Sgarbossa, and Shea Theodore recalled to Anaheim. Mason Raymond, Nick Sorensen and Jacob Larsson assigned to San Diego.

Tonight's game is a rematch between Texas and the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last season.

The team returns big time threat from the backend, Brandon Montour. Mike Sgarbossa and Stefan Noesen also return. One notable player not returning is Chris Mueller, who moved on to Tucson.

In net, Texas will face a veteran goalie crew. Matt Hackett returns and Dustin Tokarski has joined him. Between the two, they've played in two Calder Cup Finals with Tokarski winning for Norfolk and Hackett losing for Houston.

After a tight weekend against Charlotte, the Stars have been lit up in their past two contests. Texas let eleven past their goaltending duo in those two games. It goes without saying that they need to tighten up on defense. Further, it would be helpful to the cause for those early season penalty jitters to get worked out. Texas slipped to 72.7% on the PK with last night's effort in Ontario.
