Texas surely wouldn't mind a copy-paste effort from last night's victory. However, there were little tweaks that they wanted to make to ensure a tighter game in their own end.

"Things in the D zone were a little scrambly," assessed Justin Dowling after last night's win. "But it's the first game of the season. It was a bit of a feeling out process. Once we got it into their end of the ice, everyone was clicking."

Coach Laxdal agreed with the assessment on D as well.

Laxdal also noted that he will try to keep up the pace tonight by cycling in some fresh legs. This means some of last night's scratches could cycle into the lineup. Matt Mangene and Austin Fyten were in that group last night.
