This will be the first visit to Texas for the Condors, who are not having an excellent season. At a game under .500, they're in last place in the Pacific Division. Further, Texas has had excellent success against the Oilers farm club in their iteration in California. The Condors' win earlier this season on November 5th was their first ever against Texas. The Stars swept the season series last year at a perfect 6-0, all regulation wins.

Despite their rough record, the Condors feature a top five scorer in Taylor Beck, who has 12-29=41 in just 27 games this year. Beck has faced the Stars most commonly as a Milwaukee Admiral. In three season there, he topped out at 49 points, a high mark he hit in 65 games in the 13-14 season. He is on pace for approximately 90 points if everything holds. Twelve of those points have come on the power play, so the Stars will be wise to watch #41.

The Stars will be without Austin Fyten this evening after his suspension for an illegal check to the head on Tuesday. Branden Troock has been recalled and could join the lineup to see if he can replicate his scoring ways in Cedar Park.

Stars injury/call up report:
Honka (call up)
Dowling (injury)
Fyten (suspension)
