Patrik Nemeth is on his way back to Dallas for tonight's game against the Wild. The defenseman was on a conditioning assignment in Texas, getting some ice time he could not find in Dallas. With the injury to Jamie Oleksiak on Thursday against the Red Wings, Nemeth was needed as the 7th man for the upcoming road trip.
Texas has been scratching Ludwig Bystrom and Nick Ebert the past several games, so they should have enough depth to not worry about recalling a forward from Idaho.

Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Patrik Nemeth from his conditioning assignment with the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Nemeth, 24, recorded three points (1-2=3) in four AHL games with Texas during his conditioning assignment. The defenseman has appeared in 16 NHL games with Dallas in 2016-17 and has registered 17 hits, 19 blocked shots and 18 shots on goal this season.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden, was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (41st overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
