Landon Bow Wins Backup Job as Texas Stars Announce Opening Roster

The Texas Stars announced their opening night roster this afternoon. Most notably, the team showed their hand on which goalie will backup Mike McKenna.

Undrafted free agent signee Landon Bow will backup McKenna on opening night. Philippe Desrosiers has been assigned to Idaho. However, Desrosiers will likely find himself in Austin pretty soon. Coach Laxdal is looking to 'platoon' the two, switching them out to keep a good mixture of AHL practice/backup time and ECHL game time in their diets.
