Alright, let's forget last night even happened. The Stars certainly will be looking to do that and the fans couldn't get much excitement out of the game last night either. It started well enough but the third period collapse saw a 6-2 final for Stockton.

Assignments for the All-Star Break (Dickinson, Heatherington, Honka) were not factors last night, and if Dickinson and Heatherington play tonight, it will be their third game in as many nights.

Last night, Coach Laxdal noted postgame, "We thought it was going to be an easy game, and it was an easy game for the Stockton Heat." It points to his earlier lament that everyone is good in the division. Two games won or lost could take you from top to bottom or vice versa.

The Stars will look to reset tonight and send themselves into the All-Star Break with a win. If they fall to Stockton this evening, they will swap spots with the Heat heading into the break.

Stars injury/call up report:
None.
