UPDATE: Dallas made it official at 11:30 AM.

The captain, Curtis McKenzie, is expected to be recalled from Texas to the NHL this morning. An injury to Jason Spezza has necessitated the recall. He is expected to be in Washington in time for tonight's game against the Capitals.

Here's the release:
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled left wing Curtis McKenzie from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
