When it rains, it pours. The Stars are below .500 and might be without one of their top defensemen for the final game of the 3-in-3. Ben Gleason could miss today with a lower body injury sustained last night.

That brings it right back to the point made by Laxdal last night, "We need guys to step up and keep it simple until we get healthy and Dallas gets healthy."

Injuries up and down the lineup hurt, but they actually create opportunities. ECHL callups and bottom six guys need to step up. Not much else to say here on the third day against the same team, a stretch that Erik Condra called a playoff series.

Colton Point should get the start today.
