Texas Stars forwards Denis Gurianov and Joel L'Esperance dazzled in the All-Star Classic tonight, but the Central Division didn't have the overall muster to make it to the final round. Gurianov notched two goals and two assists while L'Esperance knocked back a goal and two assists across the three mini-games of the round-robin tournament.
The Central was unlucky in the contest, losing to both Eastern Conference Divisions and picking up their lone victory against the Pacific Division.
Gurianov's four points tied him with several others for second place in the scoring race behind Drake Batherson (5-0=5) in the round-robin portion.
