Nick Caamano, Joel L'Esperance Reassigned to Texas Stars

The Dallas Stars have assigned two forwards back to Texas, bolstering an offensive group that was strugglingin their absence. Nick Caamano and Joel L'Esperance will be available for the weekend set against Grand Rapids after six and three games in the Dallas lineup, respectively.

Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned forwards Nick Caamano and Joel L'Esperance to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Caamano, 21, registered one goal (1-0=1), six shots on goal, 10 hits and an average time on ice of 11:00 in six games with Dallas. Caamano made his NHL debut on Oct. 5 at St. Louis, posting one hit in 11:18 of ice time.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound native of Hamilton, Ont. was originally selected by Dallas in the fifth round (146th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.

L'Esperance, 24, recorded one goal (1-0=1), two shots on goal and an average time on ice of 7:21 in three games with Dallas in 2019-20. He has also skated in one AHL game with Texas this season.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound native of Brighton, Mich. was originally undrafted and signed as a free agent by Dallas on July 1, 2018.
