Texas Stars Announce Reschedule with Toronto for March 2

Following the league's mandate to reschedule the Stars' January 10th game against Toronto, Texas has announced a new date for the matchup: March 2nd. It's a Monday game, which have become very rare on the Stars' schedule in recent seasons. The game was originally cancelled after Toronto forfeit the match following a medical incident pre-game involving one of their assistant coaches. The Toronto players voted to play the game but were overruled by the coaching staff and management.

It will be a 7 PM start as usual. The Stars are selling discounted tickets to encourage attendance, which is certainly going to be lighter than the previously scheduled Friday night game. The Marlies will be a good draw to hopefully counteract that.

Here's the release:
The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today that the club has rescheduled its game against the Toronto Marlies from Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 to Monday, Mar. 2, 2020 at 7 p.m. The clubs will face off at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park for the make-up game, concluding their four-game season series.

All Texas Stars ticket package holders, including full and partial plans, will receive a complimentary ticket to the game uploaded to their account. For assistance and questions, contact your account representative, email Tickets@texasstars.com or call/text (512) GO-STARS (467-8277).
