Julius Honka is back with the Dallas Stars organization. After spending last year in his native Finland, Dallas has signed the defenseman on a two-way deal for the coming season. Honka is a well-known quantity in the AHL, skating in 201 games with Texas and racking up over 100 points in those contests.

With the likely loss of Joel Hanley to Dallas duty and Dillon Heatherington as yet unsigned, Honka adds an experienced defenseman on the blue line.
