UPDATE: Dallas also added Joseph Cecconi to the signed list Tuesday with a one-year, two-way.

Following free agency last week, Dallas has been hard at work sealing the deal with several restricted free agents. Colton Point, Nick Caamano, Ben Gleason, Joel Kiviranta and Jerad Rosburg all signed deals in the last week with the last two being two-year pacts.

One surprising bit of news this week is that RFA Adam Mascherin, who led Texas with 17 goals last year, has departed the team for Europe. SkellefteƄ AIK snatched up the winger, announcing the one-year signing this morning. His NHL rights are still retained by Dallas, as they did qualify him by last week's deadline. Mascherin figured to be knocking on the NHL door this season but may have seen that opportunity dwindling with the aggression that Dallas took to free agency. The championship window is open now for the Dallas Stars, and it might not have been the ideal year to try to crack that lineup.
