The Dallas Stars announced Tuesday that they will open their 2022-23 season with training camp in Cedar Park. The home of the AHL's Texas Stars has hosted several NHL training camps, most recently in 2017. Details on how to watch the teams or interact with the team are sure to be forthcoming. The exact dates will be September 21-24.
The Cedar Park portion of the schedule is usually only three days before the team shuttles off to begin preseason games. Dallas will play neutral site games in Tulsa, OK, and Kansas City, MO. H-E-B Center at Cedar Park has not hosted an NHL preseason game to date.
Texas training camp will surely start shortly thereafter as the team prepares for an October 14 season opener.
