Forward Fredrik Karlstrom, whose season ended two months early due to a leg injury, has been re-signed by Dallas. The team announced today a one-year, two-way deal for the Swede, who skated in five games for Dallas and 47 for Texas this past season.

Karlstrom was a restricted free agent who was arbitration eligible. Dallas avoided qualifying offers and arbitration for him with the deal today.

The Stars still have a significant pack of players to consider in either RFA or UFA status, many of whom where major contributors at the AHL level.
