Dallas added two restricted free agent signings to their pile today with Nick Caamano and Scott Reedy, both qualified on Friday, signing one-year, two-way deals.

Caamano's season started with a four-month injury that saw the start of his season delayed. He only played in 29 regular season AHL games but was tied for Texas' leading goal scorer in the playoffs after playing in all eight games. Caamano was a 2016 draft pick of Dallas.

Reedy came to Texas in the trade with San Jose that sent Jacob Peterson westward. Reedy was a solid contributor for Texas and there was a period of several weeks after his acquisition where he was solidly the best forward on the team. Notably, Peterson also re-upped with San Jose after the trade, so this is a good example of a change-of-scenery trade that actually worked out for both parties.

Qualified RFAs Riley Damiani and Ty Dellandrea still remain for Dallas. No new names have been added to the 'moving on' list since it was last published here on Saturday night. Dallas did add former Texas Star Gavin Bayreuther on a one-year, one-way. It's a cheap, relatively risk-free way to get some more depth.
