As if there were any doubt, the AHL named Logan Stankoven as one of the three forwards on the AHL All-Rookie Team today. Stankoven is the third Texas Star in team history to be named to the All-Rookie roster, including current captain Curtis McKenzie and now-former Star Riley Damiani. Both also went on to win the Rookie of the Year trophy, which is the broad expectation for Stankoven this season as well.
The Texas Stars media contingent's ballot mirrored much of the final selection. You may note the absence of Stankoven, as ballots cannot include players from the city the media covers.
