The Texas Stars opened training camp this morning with an on-ice session at the Crossover in Cedar Park. Fifteen forwards, eight defensemen and three goalies made up the crew with more to come as Dallas makes further assignments ahead of opening night.
Some of those biggest names are yet to come pending decisions on Dallas' 13th forward and defensemen. Matěj Blümel, Kole Lind and Oskar Bäck are all in contention for that 13th role. Arttu Hyry, Cameron Hughes and Emilio Pettersen are also still in Dallas. On defense, Alex Petrovic, Kyle Capobianco and Lian Bichsel remain.
